The Group has invested RMB63 billion to build rural areas covered by farmlands into the starting zone of the Southern New Area and Eastern New Area, making the Southern New Area and Eastern New Area the sub-centers of Chengdu with urban functions and carrying capacity. At the commencement of the construction of Tianfu New Area as a state-level new area, as the builder of supporting infrastructures for the first phase of the “three longitudinal lines, one horizontal line and one lake” project, the Group invested RMB10 billion to complete the construction of trunk roads in the Tianfu New Area.
