On August 1, a delegation headed by Victor Lozano, deputy mayor of Merida, Mexico and Bai Yi, President of the Federation of Overseas Chinese and Chinese in Yucatán Peninsula, visited Chengdu Xingcheng Group and negotiated with the group over project cooperation.
During the meeting, Zhang Juntao, general manager of the group extended a warm welcome to the guests from Mexico and introduced the implementation of the group’s “going out” strategy in detail. He said that, depending on the friendly cooperation between the government of Chengdu and the government of Merida, he hoped to strengthen the communication, exchange and mutual understanding and trust between the group and the government of Merida and to seek opportunities for cooperation in projects such as resort hotels and real estates on the principle of mutual benefit and good faith. Victor Lozano, deputy mayor of Merida, thanked Xingcheng Group for its warm reception and introduced the investment environment of Merida. He also invited Chengdu Xingcheng Group to Merida to carry out investigations and negotiations over projects and seek cooperation opportunities. He said, he and the government of Merida would provide Xingcheng Group with comprehensive services with respect to investment cooperation.
