Recently, the consortium formed by Chengdu Small Town Investment Co., Ltd. subordinated to Chengdu Xingcheng Group, Chengdu Road&Bridge Engineering Co., Ltd., and Jiangsu Guorui Water Conservancy Construction Co., Ltd. officially entered into the Civil Engineering (Section II) Construction Contract of the Subproject of Sichuan Small Town Development Project in Puxing Town, Xinjin County in Sichuan Telecommunications Hotel. Director Shi Yi of the Leading Group Office of Sichuan Provincial Government Water Resources Planning, Urban Construction and Environmental Protection Project, Deputy general manager of Xingcheng Group and president of Chengdu Small Town Investment Co., Ltd. Xu Ping, the principal of consortium and the heads of other relevant departments of Xinjin County attended the contract signing ceremony.
The estimated total investment of the project was RMB 349.2949 million, including world bank credit of USD 30 million, while the surplus funds were raised by the project owner. The project content and construction scale include 15 roads and water supply and drainage pipe project in the new city region, water supply and drainage pipe network reconstruction project in old town and urban section training works of main canal and branch canal of Mumashan in Puxing Town, Xinjin County. The Finance Bureau of Xinjin County is the project loan subject while Chengdu Small Town Investment Co., Ltd. is the general contractor. The project will significantly improve the local infrastructure conditions, improve bearing capacity and promote regional economic development and construction of small towns.
